If not, we will highlight the major point of it in this post.

And now, let's keep it going...

Home businesses all over the world have websites and are trying to make money using them, to no avail...But not those who know how to use "The Three Most Important Seconds" to do "The Only thing your website should be doing". They've created lasting businesses that will be able to make a steady and predictable income.

In the previous post, we discussed that in order to have a home-based business that is profitable, you had to master this one secret:

To make the right offer--> to the right market ->
at the right time and be backed by the right product.

So, how do you put the right product in front of the right market at the right time? It's simple. You advertise your site or product in a creative way, you get the contact information of your visitors or traffic, and you follow-up with them via e-mail, or RSS.

Do you see the formula here? Advertising in a creative way, like pay per click search engines, articles, e-zine ads (online magazine), ebay, or classified sites, allows you to make the right offer and select the right market and/or let the right market select you; having an opt-in form (a form that allows a visitor or potential customer to enter in the desired contact information) allows you to put the right product in front of them at the right time.

Now, all you need to do is learn to make the right offer and select the right product, which I will tell you how to do in a later e-mail.

Sounds easy, doesn't it? It is. It does take some work, some time, some effort, and some learning. But once your home business is up and running, it's virtually on autopilot.

So, what exactly are you going to cut out a little TV time for, or lose a little sleep for in the beginning? Your financial breakthrough!

So, what does it mean to be on autopilot? It means to wake up in the morning an hour late, make sure the kids have breakfast and get off to school ok...Read any updates or

...Then, yawn while you check your inbox to see if you topped the seven "You Got Paid" messages in your inbox that you had the night before, While you were getting a good night's rest.

So, once you have the right market at your webpage...

What do you do?

One.............. two................ three................

They're gone!

That's all you have...three seconds. "The most important three seconds in your business". During these three seconds, you have the opportunity to do one thing...Get Their Attention...

...But not for long...Just long enough to build interest and curiosity and get them to take action. Period! This is why pop-ups, although sometimes annoying, are so popular.

When you arrive at a site with a pop-up, it jumps out at you and gets your attention. The key with a pop-up, that I don't see enough people do, is arouse curiosity, interest, and desire so the visitor will take your desired.........Action!

So, what type of action do you want them to take? You want them to give you the permission to contact them. In other words, opt-in to your email list or newsletter.

Why do you want the permission to contact them? So that you can put the right product in front of the right market at the right time. This is "The Only Thing Your Web Site Should Be Doing"...

...Capturing the contact information of as many website visitors as it can, so that you can follow-up with them with interesting, benefit-driven, curiousity-provoking information.

When someone gives you their contact information, they're basically saying to you, "Hey, I'm interested in what you have to offer".

And they're willing to give you the opportunity to show it to them. This is the position you want to be in. Instead of trying to go out and sell somebody on something, they're coming to you and saying...

"I'm interested in what you have to offer". If you offer it to me the "right" way, I might just buy.

They are leaving the door open for you. You don't need the whole thing wide open, but you at least want a little crack.

Listen to this: Only 1-2% of people actually buy something when they see a really good salesletter. The other 98-99% are gone.

However, if you use "The Three Most Important Seconds in Your Home Business", grabbing attention, to do "The Only Thing Your website should be Doing", which is capturing contact information of your site visitors, and you get a 15 to 40% opt-in rate or conversion, then you still have the opportunity to make the one or two sales that you were getting before. As you build trust with them over time and present other offers, they will buy from you also, and you will have repeat customers.

The reason why I say trust is because mistrust is the number one deal-killer. As you spend time with your opt-in list, you have the opportunity to break down this barrier. Remember,
they did give you a crack by letting you contact them. Now, you have the opportunity to open up the door and come in, happily invited.

So, the question is, would you rather have 100 visitors and 2 sales, or 100 visitors, 2 sales and 30 new leads to be able to follow-up with for free, forever and repeat business for the same advertising dollar and time you would have spent anyway?
